                                                                       Reflection on Report
      The argumentative report gave me a chance to hold a subjective tone towards a topic. I was able 

to express my opinion into my paper and prove them by providing evidence. Once I knew what my 

reason was all I had to do was find a source and make it work in my favor. The interesting part about 

the report was finding the evidence that went along with the sources. I had to thoroughly analyze 

each piece of evidence and make sure that it would support my thesis. I also believe that this report 

bettered my understanding of analyzing journals or newspapers. Besides this I learned how to take a 

source and paraphrase it. I did not just want to take a quote from the source, but preferred to 

paraphrase it.


       My report still has ways to be improved. I was not satisfied with the amount of sources I 

provided and believe that if I had included two more, my paper would have been stronger. Besides 

this I feel my appeal to logos was not strong. My report could have been better organized. Other than 

these concerns, I believe that my report represented the strong beliefs I have toward the topic. I 

incorporated appeals to ethos by including stories from people who have experienced suicide and 

called for an urgent change.
