 Reflection to 2nd DRAFT
                                                                               Reflection
The second draft of my research paper is more of an improvement than my first draft. In my

first draft I lacked claims to support my thesis. For this reason in my second draft I added another

claim that contained evidence. In this claim I talked about the economic impact HIV/AIDS has on

humans. I included evidence that came from journals and also government reports such as the United

Nations website. Afterwards, I analyzed his evidence and tried to prove that HIV/AIDS is a financial

burden. Besides this, I decided that including a block quote would work best to show my evidence.

At first I was going to use a sandwich quote, but then all parts of the quote was necessary to get my

point across. For the final paper, I need to analyze the evidence more and connect it back to my

thesis.

Although I believe that I improved my writing in my second draft, there is still room for

improvement. For the second draft I did not include a counterclaim because I am still trying to

organize my claims and evidence for it. The hardest part about this is figuring out which piece of

evidence is more important. Second I also need to look for visual aids that will make an appeal to

pathos or link back to my claims. I want the final research paper to reflect my work and also end with

a solution on how we can solve or minimize the issue at hand.
